We, at Alternative Acres believe in transparency during the complete meat chicken process, from hatchery to dinner table. We decided to provide an alternative not only for our selves but to our local community, giving complete information on what, where, when, why and how our birds are being raised. We challenge you to question what you are feeding your family and friends, and invite you to experience the alternative.

This is our pastured-raised, no-soy, no-GMO, organic fed whole chicken. This bird was raised being able to nurture itself naturally off of bugs and worms outside on fresh green grass daily with sunshine and room to forage. We will NEVER give our chickens any type of drugs! These chickens are moved to new fresh pasture every day after being in a brooder for no more than 17-21 days.
We will have a variety of organic grown vegetables this season.....stay tuned.....
